At Wessex Gardens, we believe our children learn best when they are inquisitive and engaged in their learning. We understand that children at this age learn best through play and exploration.

Our curriculum is underpinned by a play-based approach where pupils have access to all areas of learning within the inside and outside classroom. Pupils engage in self-chosen activities as well as carefully planned adult-directed sessions, inducing phonics. 

 

We aim to provide opportunities for all children to challenge themselves, problem solve and work together. We promote communication so that children can express their ideas and build their imagination in an environment which is fun and stimulating. We endeavour to help children grow confident, independent and resilient children.
